Obama, Clinton, and Bush come together for Haiti

(That wasn't the set up for a joke.)

The current prez has enlisted the assistance of his two predecessors in the Haiti relief efforts. Pres. Clinton and Pres. Bush are hoping to help by raising funds to go towards the Carribbean nation's recovery in the aftermath of Monday's tragic earthquake.

They've created a website (http://www.clintonbushhaitifund.org/) and promise donors that they can be sure the money will be spent "wisely". [MSNBC]

I told you so.

Martha Coakley is going to lose. And Massachuesetts will annoint super crazy Scott Brown as Ted Kennedy's successor, all because liberals assume New England is this progressive haven. It simply isn't so. And I called it way back in August some time. And, more importantly, I am absolutely the type of person to rub it everyone's face!

Her own internal polls show her trailing behind Brown, and Pres. Obama is set to hit the pavement for her tomorrow in Boston. Daily Kos has a great piece on just why Coakley is in this situation.

Granted, polling can be an inaccurate way of measuring political will...because...well, in a recession, hippies don't answer calls from weird numbers since it's more likely to be a bill collector.
