Pat Robertson admits he's the devil...

and made dastardly pacts with poor nations like Haiti.

At least that's how I'm interpreting it.

Paging Gov. Paterson's chaperone!

Unfortunately, this man is allowed to speak when reporters are around. It's getting laughable.
Paterson is calling for smaller government by cutting public services in a time of need. They're using phrases like "private sector approach" and "mergers", and I'm wondering why the people of New York are expected to pay taxes this year.

Paterson should find some "private investors" to "financially back" the state services. Fuck taxes.

When white people start acting crazy...

we're all screwed.

The Boston Herald (that bastion of high class news reportin') published an online story about some crazy white man from The Weekly Standard being "roughed up" by another crazy white man, whose affiliation is undetermined, outside of a Martha Coakley fundraiser.

There's nothing like watching two "professional looking" distinguished gentlemen push each other to make you realize just how ridiculous people are acting. It's a mid-term election, people. And in Coakley's case it's a special election. Why are people acting like it's the apocalypse? Random fundraiser attendees pushing random conservative pseudo-journalists?
As you can see, the grainy photo above clearly shows a Jets v. Sharks type street war that, unfortunately, did not end in song and dance. Unless blowing the whole thing out of proportion can be considered a "song and dance". In which case - it is exactly like West Side Story. Can't you just imagine Martha Coakley singing "I feel pretty...oh so pretty..."??

When did politics become something OTHER than rich & powerful people using a seemingly legitimate cover to control the poor & powerless, and amass ginormous amounts of money?
